Allan James Bolton
BOLTON, ALLAN April 8th, 1952 - Dec. 5th, 2020. Sadly, we announce the passing of Al. He was predeceased by his parents Allan Alexander & Barbara Mary Bolton and his lifelong partner Melita Westgard. Al will be remembered by family Tyson, Kim, Chayce & Makayla Westgard. Trisha and Jerith Archibald. Sisters Maggie and Rosie and brother Gord, along with their families.
Al worked his entire life, of which the last 18 years have been dedicated to the Edam School where he built great relationships and many fond memories. Al enjoyed fishing as much as he could and spent a lot of his time doing so with a few of his closest co-workers. Al spoke quite lovingly about the friendships he made there.
When Al wasn’t busy working at the school, he could either be found at the lake fishing, spending time with his grandkids or if he was lucky enough, both at the same time. Nothing brought Al more joy than being with his grandkids, Chayce and Makayla. His patience for chasing them around the playground, to be shown a new toy or artwork, or to sit still while getting a brush pulled through his hair, amongst many other activities, was unparalleled.
Al will be greatly missed and remembered through all of the great memories made with him along the way. There will be a celebration of life for Al in the summer at one of his favourite lakes. Details TBA.
