Angeline Van Den Bruel, April 12, 1931 – December 30, 2020
It is with deep sadness and a great deal of love the family of Angeline Rita Van Den Bruel announce her peaceful passing at her residence in Unity Long Term Care on Wednesday, December 29, 2020 at 89 years young. There is comfort knowing she is once again together with her beloved Leo, reuniting with him just in time to dance together on their 70th Wedding Anniversary in heaven.
Angie was born on April 12, 1931 in Allan, SK, daughter of Barbara and Anton Marbach. She is survived by her son Wayne (Sherry); daughters Rhonda, Barbara (Tim), Cheryl and Jeanette; son Kevin (Jolene); daughter-in-law Anna; sisters Fran Goulet and Edith Seltzer; brother Tony Marbach (Christine); and sister-in-law Irene Lee. She will be forever remembered by her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Leo (2001); parents Anton and Barbara Marbach; father-in-law Amundas Van Den Bruel; mother-in-law Rose Van Den Bruel; sons Gord and Dwight; sisters Kathlene and Rosaline; brothers Pius, Emil and John; sister-in-law Delores (Tony) Marbach.
Angie had an infectious smile that would light up a room, along with an unforgettable laugh. She will be remembered for her deep love of family, toe tapping music and dancing. She faced many daunting challenges in her life and persevered through faith to overcome them.
A private graveside service with immediate family will be held on January 6. The family will host a celebration of Angie’s life later in 2021, once COVID restrictions are lifted and allow for larger gatherings.
