Anton (Tony) Sander Obituary

Tony Sander passed away on November 30, 2024 in Wilkie, SK. Tony is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy; daughters Laurie (Robert) Beresnak and Gina (Luc) Dansereau; granddaughters Emily and Shauna Beresnak and Stephanie Dansereau, all of Edmonton, AB; brothers Michael (Diane) Sander of Wilkie, SK and Dennis (Jennie) Sander of Lethbridge, AB; his sisters Marian Carter of Saskatoon, SK and Adeline (Dennis) Treptau of Regina, SK as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents William A. and Salome Sander; an infant son; in-laws Arthur and Annie Hicks; and brothers-in-law Reg Carter and Anthony Hicks.

A Funeral Service for Tony will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11:00AM at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Wilkie, SK.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Poplar Courts Activity Fund or the Alzheimer's Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories.
