BERNARD JACOB CEY

June 18, 1939 - July 19, 2020

With great sadness we announce the passing of Bernard Jacob Cey on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at the age of 81 years. Bernard grew up on the family farm near Landis, Saskatchewan and spent his entire life enjoying everything the farm and the surrounding communities had to offer. In addition to farming, he enjoyed many activities, with a special love for golf, cards, and curling. Bernard always put God first in his life as a devout Catholic and member of the Knights of Columbus.  Bernard is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl, his six children: Jacqueline (Duane), Andrew (Ria), Rosanne (Kim), Edwin (Christine), Teresa (Ikenna), and Bradley (Misty); 21 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, five brothers, one sister, mother-in-law Mary, and many nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his loving wife, Magdalene, his parents Bruno and Susan, three brothers, and two sisters.

Due to the facility size, the large family and the Covid restrictions there will be a viewing held for his dear friends to pay their respects.  Viewing for friends will be held at Gerein Funeral Service Chapel, Wilkie, SK : 2:30 - 4:00 pm., July 22, 2020.

Public Interment at the Landis Cemetery - Will start at approximately 11:45 am, PLEASE wait on the road until the family arrives.  Once the staff confirms numbers due to restrictions upon everyone's arrival, you will be notified where to stand if we are not over capacity.  Thanks for your cooperation.
