Barbara Surine passed away January 9, 2024 in Unity, SK. Barb is survived by her children, Doug and Lois (nee Day)and family Nathanael and Benjamin; Laureen and Glen Bounting; daughter-in-law, Sandi (nee Ballantyne) and family Justin, Kurt and Charissa; Jayne  and Elton Ash and family Celeste, Tanya, Sabrina and Sarah-Jayne; daughter-in-law Sheila Feser and daughters Shevaun, Naycie, Kevin’s children Dan, Deb and Samantha; Warren and Linda (nee Florizone) and family Clayton, Trevor and Eric; sister Joan Berkenstock; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Barb was predeceased by her husband Ray; parents Arthur and Mabel Thompson; brothers Bob and John; sisters Margaret and Judy; sons Gerry and Kevin; grandchildren Jeffrey and Jenai Bounting, David Surine; and great-grandchildren Emma and Addison Surine.

A Funeral Service for Barbara will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Unity United Church.  A Funeral Service for Barbara will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Unity United Church at 11:30AM with the Interment to take place prior to the Funeral Service at 10:00AM in Rutland Cemetery in Unity. Tributes may be directed to Unity Hospital Foundation or Unity Courtesy Car.
