Clark Ubell was born in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan, on March 25, 1959, to Karen (Eriksen) and Adolph Ubell. Clark grew up on a farm near Luseland, Saskatchewan with his seven siblings. He went to school in Luseland and graduated in 1977. He met the love of his life, Janet Hoffinger, at a New Year's Eve dance in Luseland. They got married in Denzil, Saskatchewan, September 30th, 1988. Together Clark and Janet moved to Unity, Saskatchewan and made this town their home from then on. They were blessed with two beautiful children, Kimberley Marie on February 10th, 1989 and Bradley David on May 15th, 1991.
Clark worked in multiple farm dealerships as a parts man. In 1998, he purchased Jaron Bearing, making his dream of owning his own parts retail business a reality. His passion in life was helping and serving people in his community. He always said he wanted people to leave Jaron Bearing feeling happier than when they came in. He loved his job and worked up until he was unable to, when his son took over the business.
Clark always had a smile for everyone, even through his illness, and was one of the most positive, kind-hearted, fun guys around. His three grandchildren were his biggest joy and they all adored their Grandad.
On June 21, 2019, Clark was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He battled for four long, hard years and suffered much, but never let it get his spirits down. Surrounded by his family, Clark passed away on July 20, 2023, at the Unity Health Centre at 64 years of age.
Clark will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 34 years, Janet; their children and grandchildren Kimberley (Aaron) Agar, Weston, Davin and Holly and Bradley; parents Adolph and Karen; brothers, Greg (Sylvia), Ted (Donna), Laurie (Rachel), Barry and Mike (Joanne); sisters, Deb (John) and Dianne (Clayton) Kramer; mother-in-law Wilma Hoffinger; brother-in-laws, Allan (Nancy), Vern (Donna) and Greg; sister-in-law, Sheila (Mike) Gartner; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
