DONALD NORMAN SCHEIDT
May 6, 1929 – March 9, 2021

Donald Norman Scheidt passed away March 9, 2021 at the age of 91
 Don was predeceased by his two brothers, George (Dorothy) Scheidt, Art (Vi) Scheidt and his son Gordon Scheidt
 Don was born and raised in the Salvador District by August and Lydia Scheidt
 In the fall of 1951, he married his love, Margaret Buchanan
 Also in the year of 1951, he bought the homestead half from Grandfather, John C. Scheidt
 Donald and Margaret had three children,
 Gordon (Deb) Scheidt: Chad (Traci), Graci, Hunter/ Dorothy (Brad) Magnus, Nichelle (Logan) Clappison, Jordyn, Talon
 Karen (Earl) Hawthorne: Easten (Rae) Hawthorne, Haylee, Brody, Sloane/ Drew (Mindy) Hawthorne, Ethan, Reeve, Kingston/ Kelsey (Dallas)Sperle, DJ, Lachlan, Shea/
Delta (Clay) Hudec, Walker
Kathleen (Alan) May: Colby (Amy) May, Trayson/ Jessie May (Richard)
One of Don’s passions was farming. He took such great pride in all aspects of farming, and raising livestock.  He loved to use his hands and knowledge to build three homes and shops and was endlessly tinkering on equipment. Building and fixing it yourself was a way of life he embraced.

Don joined Kinsmen the second year it was established and was given a lifetime membership in 1979.

Gordon came back to the farm in 1980 to farm together with Don for many years.
Don also drove school bus for a number of years.
Don and Margaret had much fun travelling and site seeing in Yuma, Arizona
