Dustin Stuart Palmer

It is with profound sadness that the family of Dustin Stuart Palmer announce his passing on April 30th, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Regina in 1980, Dustin and his family moved to Rosetown in 1986 where he graduated from Rosetown Central High School. He later went on to attend the University of Saskatchewan, where he received his Bachelor of Education. Dustin began his teaching career at Egadz (an experience he spoke highly of and never forgot) and Bedford Road Collegiate, before moving to teach Special Education and Resource at Walter Murray Collegiate. In 2014, Dustin made a massive career pivot, leaving teaching and starting trade school to become an electrician; work he truly enjoyed. Dustin had many hobbies and interests, and will be remembered for his quick wit, tender heart, and love of a great mustache. He is survived by his parents Trevor and Laurie, brother Chad with his wife Taylor along with their children Sutton and Reese; loving partner Kristina and stepdaughter Faith, and their beloved dogs Calla and Gus. The family extends their heartfelt and eternal gratitude to the doctors, nurses, staff, and volunteers at the Hospice at Glengarda for their kind and compassionate care of Dustin in his final days.

Dustin’s Celebration of Life will be held on June 7th.
