Eileen May Schafer

With much sorrow, the family of Eileen Schafer, announces her passing on February 10, 2023.

Eileen was born in Unity, SK on March 28, 1948 to parents, Lloyd and Thelma Gilles.  She attended school in Unity and married Casper on September 3,1966.

She loved spending time with her family, which always included her yummy baked goods! These special times together included playing cards, boardgames and Backgammon.  Every summer, time was spent camping at Loon Lake.  Eileen was sure to have a campfire going every evening for get-togethers.

Eileen will be forever lovingly remembered by her husband, Casper, children, Michael and Sherri (Don), and grandchildren, Ashley and Devon (Madison) as well as brother, Harold (June), twin sister Elaine (Ken), sister-in-law, Betty, and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Murray.

A family graveside service will be held at a later date.
