We have all been blessed by knowing Eleanor who will be missed by all.
Eleanor was the fifth child of nine born to Albert and Ada Goring of Springwater, SK. She grew up in Springwater where she met Morley Ries and at the age of 13 they started courting. Eleanor and Morley married in 1954 and settled onto the Ries family farm. There they raised 3 children. Eleanor and Morley’s hearts and home were always open to everyone. Eleanor was very talented and was passionate about cooking, gardening, cake decorating, painting and numerous other crafts. After retiring from the farm they moved to Biggar,SK. Eleanor’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life. She enjoyed many friendships belonging to numerous organizations. Church, Eastern Star, Jobs Daughters, Daughters of the Nile and many other community organizations. Everyone who knew her had their lives enriched by her.
She is survived by her loving husband Morley of 67 years, Daughter Cindy (Allan) and children Jackie (Cory) children Alexa, Kailyn, Jaxxon, children Christa (Jordan) children Jack, Brooke. Son Jordy (Darlene) and children Alyssa (Dane) children Deegan, children Erika, children Ashley (Kyle). Daughter Connie (Dwayne) and children Dylan, children Tessa (Alec) children Kayden.
She is predeceased by her parents Albert and Ada Goring and her eight siblings Marjorie, Maudie, Margaret, Marion, Allan, Verna, Grace and Algy.
