Gary William Sopyc

Gary William Sopyc passed away in Unity, SK on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at the age of 62. Prior to moving home to Unity in June 2021, Gary had resided in Orillia, Ontario for over 20 years.

Gary is survived by his parents John and Doreen Sopyc; brother Ken (Denise) Sopyc; sister Glenda Mason, sister Shelley (Dennis) Russett; brother Allan (Darlene) Sopyc; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins and close friend Michelle O'Keefe. Gary was predeceased by his grandparents Harry Sopyc, Annie Gawuik, Peter Kirchgesner, Margaret Kirchgesner and brother-in-law John Mason. 

As per Gary's request, no service will be held.

The family would like to thank the healthcare workers and everyone at the Unity & District Health Centre for their compassionate care of Gary.
