The family and friends of James Neil Moncrieff are sad to announce his passing on October
31, 2021 at North Battleford Union Hospital.
Neil was born in Macklin, Saskatchewan on October 17, 1945, to Annabell (nee Wallace) and Milford (Miff) Moncrieff. He grew up on the farm east of Senlac and has always had a deep passion and joy working with his horses.
He introduced his children Chrissy, Jeanette and Steven to the love of animals, hard work and helping your friends and neighbors. Neil was always ready to help anyone that called in exchange for not much more than a good story and a cup of coffee.
After leaving Senlac in his later years, he eventually settled in Glaslyn, Saskatchewan and continued to enjoy a life full of his horses, chuckwagon and great friends.
A special thank you to Sheldon and Darren for being such supportive friends.
Neil is survived by his 3 children Chrissy (Moncrieff), Jeanette (Wagner), Steven (Moncrieff), his grandchildren Megan and Chase Greenwald (Chrissy), Danica, Eric, Kadia Wagner (Jeanette), Jessica and Taelah Moncrieff (Steven).
Neil’s family and friends welcome anyone that would like to send Neil off with 1 last lap around the track, a coffee and stories with friends (Dad always loved a great story!!)
