Lawrence “Tex” Polsfut, age 88, passed away on July 15, 2022 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, SK.
Lawrence was born and raised in Biggar, SK. and later moved to Saskatoon, but returned to Biggar when he retired.
He was a Heavy Duty Equipment Operator prior to retirement, he was mostly a Ford man and took meticulous care of his vehicles.
Lawrence was not a complicated man, he had a few simple pleasures in life and that seemed to be all he needed. He was a real outdoorsman and loved to hunt, he loved country music, especially anything with a fiddle. He loved to dance and even when he no longer could, you would still see him tapping his toes under the table. He enjoyed a good drink of scotch, a little chew of Copenhagen and a good debate. Lawrence will be lovingly remembered by his family and all who loved him.
Lawrence is survived by his family, Lorna LeDoux, Cherie Peters, Travis Polsfut, Barry (Kim) Polsfut,
Shannon (Terry) Unrau,15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Lawrence was predeceased by his son Vincent Polsfut (2021), wife Victoria Racette, parents Ferdinand (Verne) Polsfut & Hazel Walters, sister Joan Berglund, brothers Russell, Lloyd and Gary Polsfut, and grandchildren Travis LeDoux, Michael LeDoux and Matthew Desjarlais
