Lyla Marguarite Towriss

Lyla was born December 6, 1940, passed away peacefully September 2025 at the age of 84.

She had a deep love for the farm and her animals, and she enjoyed spending time with her crochet and crafts. She was also a talented gardener, taking pride in the beauty she created from the earth.

She was predeceased by her parents, the Boynes, her in-laws, the Towriss’s, and her husband Wes, with whom she shared 32 years of marriage.

She is survived by her adopted daughter Tammy, and her grandsons Leland and Sam. She will also be remembered by her brother-in-law Ivan (Debbie), sister-in-law Joyce, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Born in Biggar, she was the daughter of the Boynes and was lovingly raised by the Thomases'.

She will be remembered with love for her kind heart, her creativity, and her devotion to her family.
