Mervin "Royce" Sutherland passed away at Biggar Long Term care on September 22, 2023. He is lovingly remembered by his son Layce (Stephanie); brother Barry Sutherland (Joyce) brother-in-law Jim Ackerman (Kim Maclean); sister-in-law Mariann Wolbeck (Derald); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Virgina "Ginger" Sutherland April 4, 2023; son Shaun; parents Rod and Eva Sutherland; father-in-law Martin Ackerman; mother-in-law Isabelle Ackerman; brother-in-law David Ackerman; sisters Darlene Sutherland and Laverne Thomas; and sister-in-law Joyce Sutherland. A Family Memorial Service will be held October 7, 2023 in Heisler, Alberta. Arrangements entrusted to Gerein Funeral Service.
