PHYLLIS EILEEN (KIENLEN) LANIGAN
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Phyllis Lanigan on June 19th, 2021 at the age of 90 yrs.
Phyllis was the second child and daughter of Raymond and Mary Kienlen and grew up on the family farm with her 2 sisters and 3 brothers in St. Gertrude Parish near Muenster, Sk. Phyllis married Tom Lanigan in 1957 and together they raised 3 sons and 3 daughters.
Phyllis loved gardening and her yard was always full of colourful blooms and produced a bountiful harvest.
Phyllis had many jobs throughout her life but she was especially proud of her 22 years of service at the Diamond Lodge in Biggar.
Phyllis was widowed in 1986 with the sudden passing of Tom. She was also predeceased by 2 daughters and 2 sons in infancy, her parents Ray and Mary Kienlen, her brothers Arthur Kienlen and Donald Kienlen, sisters Lillian Bunz and Rose Siegel, brother-in-law Norbert Bunz, sister-in-law Barb Kienlen and nephew Raymond Kienlen.
Phyllis leaves to cherish her memory her 6 children and their families: Tim (Shelley) Lanigan, Kelsey; Rick (Susan) Lanigan, Jay (Becky), Tara (Kelly); Shannon Lanigan, Jason (Amber), Daniel (Marie), Kendra (Rick), Samantha (Josh); Kelvin (Chrisy) Lanigan, Dana, Cassandra, Thomas; Rhonda (Wayne) Reed, Stephanie (Josh), Alyson, Morgan (Brigetta), Daylin (Gabe); Maureen (Daniel) Sulyk, Talon, Tealla; 26 great-grandchildren; her brother Robert (Ruth) Kienlen and numerous nieces and nephews.
