It is with heavy hearts that the family of Larry Kraft announce his sudden passing on April 24, 2022 at the age of 78. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Beverley Kraft and his children Lisa (Ray), Darren (Patty), and Cheryl as well as his grandchildren Nicole, Brandon, Steven, Taylor, Dylan and Travis.
He grew up on the family farm with his many siblings. Larry married Beverley Hoffinger on May 4, 1966. Larry started in the elevator and they raised their three children.
His career was spent with the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool. Even though that job kept him very busy, his love for family and friends came first. There were fun family times at the lake fishing, boating and sitting around many campfires. Friends could count on Larry to have the coffee ready at his shop when there was no place in Paynton to have Coffee Row.
He loved spending time playing and watching sports, racing horses and farming. Larry was a catcher and coached ball for his children’s teams for many years. He was the General Leader for the 4-H Club when his children were involved. Larry got into horseracing and the motorhome made many trips to Marquis Downs and home late into the night after watching his horses run.
Larry loved to farm. He helped out his brother and nephews every harvest after retirement. He was even assigned his own combine.
He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary Kraft and a baby sister Linda.
