Richard Jason Rickwood

October 7, 1958 - February 5, 2025

With immense sadness, we announce the passing of Richard (Rick) Rickwood of Biggar. Sk - a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Rick was a man of many interests and he enjoyed doing things on his terms. He loved animals - to him, a house was not a home without a dog (or cat) - and was passionate about photography. He found peace in volunteerism and spent a lot of his free time volunteering for non-profit groups and events in his younger days.  

Rick retired from his position as a Hydrology Technician in Regina with the PFRA in 2013, and returned to his hometown of Biggar, SK, as a resident in Long Term Care in 2023.

He is survived by his wife Gillian, his daughter Catherine (Ryan), his grandchild, his brother Jim, his Aunt Jeanne, and his cousin Jon (and family).

Rick is pre-deceased by his parents, Judith and William Rickwood, his grandparents and his Uncle Chick.

Rick’s family would like to thank the aides and support team at the Biggar long term care facility - your efforts to bring him comfort went a long way and is truly appreciated.
