With saddened hearts, the family of Rose Helen Mauthe (nee Fedeyko) of 74 years, announce her final journey as she reunites with her parents in the Promised Land.

She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Anne Fedeyko; parents-in-law Bill and Margaret Mauthe; and brother-in-law Bob Humen.

She leaves to mourn her husband of 55 years, Wayne; her sons Kris (Shannon), Mark (Yirirka), Derek (Sherry); and grandchildren Jazmyne, Taylor (Stillman), Brayden, Elizabeth (Jessica), Marishka, Lorena. Nickel, Rachel, Blaine, Bauer and Cadence; her sisters Mary Humen, Lesia (Orest) Soltykevych; her in-laws Donald (Wendy), Harold (Ferne); and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Rose was born in Hafford, SK and for the first few years, she lived on the family farm with her parents and grandparents. When she started school, she lived with her grandparents in Hafford, and later lived with her mother and sister after her father passed away. Her mother provided boarding services and this is where Rose and Wayne met and started their life together.

A Funeral Service for Rose will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 1:00 pm in St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in Unity, SK. Tributes for Rose may be directed to the Unity Branch of Saskatchewan Health Care Auxiliary: Box 523, Unity, SK, S0K 4L0.
