Rudy Weber passed away December 2, 2024 in Unity, SK. Rudy leaves to cherish his memory: his sister, Genevieve Baird; and children, Dean Weber and Dana Weber, and members of the Weber and Huber families.
Rudy was predeceased by his wife, Frances Weber (nee Huber); parents, Wendelin Weber and Katherine Weber; brothers and sisters, Rochus Webber, Elizabeth Hilsendager, Magdalena Dudder, Gertrude Stimson, Helen Culyer, Juliana Wilner, Katherine Hanson, Clementine Savoie-Erickson, Victorine Bouvier, and Edward Weber; and all deceased members of the Weber and Huber families.
Rudy was born in Scott, Saskatchewan and grew up in the village of Revenue. He was employed by the Canadian Pacific Railroad for 42 years. He worked at various capacities, ending his career as a Conductor.
As a young man, he distinguished himself in sports including hockey, baseball and golf. He was a faithful member of St. James Parish in Wilkie and of the Knights of Columbus. Most of all, we will remember Rudy as a devoted husband and father. He will be sadly missed, particularly at family gathering. After 21 long years, Rudy is finally reunited with his beloved wife, Frances.
A Funeral Mass for Rudy will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Wilkie, SK, with interment in Wilkie Cemetery to follow.
Tributes may be directed to the Wilkie Golf Course.
