Sharon Lozowchuk Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Lozowchuk (née Chayko), who peacefully crossed into her eternal home on June 7, 2026, after a courageous health battle.

Sharon was born on November 27, 1949, to Nick and Vera Chayko and was raised near Biggar, Saskatchewan. From an early age, Sharon developed a deep love for music. She spent countless hours listening to her favorite artists, especially Elvis Presley, and delighted family and friends with her impressive piano playing.

After leaving Biggar, Sharon married and moved to a farm near Blaine Lake where they raised three daughters while working diligently as grain and livestock farmers. Sharon was known for her strong work ethic, her talents as a seamstress, and her impressive garden, which she lovingly tended each year.

Later in life, Sharon returned to her roots and settled back in her hometown of Biggar. There, she reconnected with lifelong friends and formed many new friendships that brought her great joy. Her friends were a tremendous source of support and encouragement throughout the years, and she loved and appreciated them deeply. Many community members came to know Sharon during her years of dedicated service at the Biggar Legion, where she worked until her retirement.

Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters: Tina Lukian, Sheri Deobald (Drew), and Lisa Davey (Paul); her seven cherished grandchildren: Dominick, Derrick, & Daniel Lukian, Nathan & Samara Deobald, and John & Angela Davey; her two great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Nick and Vera Chayko; her sister, Arlene Popoff; and her brother, Randy Chayko.

Sharon's strength, kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.

Forever in our hearts.
